2009 SDQHYA Year-End Winners accepting their awards were Stephanie Johnson, Belle Fourche, SD and Assets To Burn - Youth All-Around, Youth All-Around 13 & Under, and High Point Junior Girl; Andrea Loges, Sheldon, IA, and Leave Me Zhipped, Novice Youth All-Around; and Sentel Johnson, Belle Fourche, SD, and Zhips Sudden Mr, Reserve Youth All-Around 13 & Under and Novice Youth Reserve All-Around. Not pictured - Gage Wilson, Badger, SD, Reserve Youth All-Around, All-Around Youth 14-18 and High Point Senior Boy. Alyssa Nix, Sioux Falls, SD, was the 2009 Reserve All-Around 14-18 and High Point Senior Girl with Power Of Revulation.
The 2009 Year-End Champions were recognized at the SDQHA Annual Convention and Awards Presentation in Chamberlain, SD on January 16th. (Seated) Tiffany Lesmeister, Redwood Falls, MN, showed Ima Good Leaguer to the Amateur All-Around and an Amateur State Championship; Amy Krueger, Ferney, SD, and Daddys Legacy captured the Reserve Amateur All-Around; and Nancy Tweet, Wentworth, SD, showed Addicted Til Tuesday to the Amateur Select All-Around for 2009. (Standing) Kristen Gonsoir, Groton, SD, showed Daddys Legacy to the 2009 SDQHA Reserve Open All-Around; Mary Roes, Hemingford, NE, and Justa Shady Guy were the Amateur Select Reserve All-Around; and Allison Sandland from Mitchell, SD, showed One Hot Shot to the Reserve Novice Amateur All-Around. Not pictured - 2009 SDQHA Open All-Around winner Roger Wilson, Badger, SD, with Ironically Hot and Novice Amateur All-Around Terry Scott, Rapid City, with Selected By Magic.

American Paint Horse Foundation names NFL Cheerleader (and SDQHA member) Susan DeRouchey nad her horse to their dream team.
